Mission Moment:
Please read this to learn the highlights about each mission. 1. International Disaster Emergency Service: We have sent IDES $500 for the Oklahoma Relief due to tornado on May 20th. Funds were from our Mission Reserve. IDES will be building storage sheds for those who have lost their homes so they can have a place to store items.
Note: IDES sent this church funds to help us rebuild after the 1994 flood.
2. Jonathan and Heather Powell, Christian Missionary Fellowship: During May, a team of 19 youth from campus ministries at Indiana University and Purdue University were there. They partnered with our church, specifically our youth and college age ministry, for 9 days of outreach and evangelism.
3. Cris Garcia, Bethshean Mexico Mission: Working in local communities to provide food as some only have enough food to eat once a day. Working with one family to provide water to her home so she can have water in her home and have an indoor toliet. Also working to get her medical attention.
4. Matt & Tammy Grinn, Pioneer Bible Translators: They are back state side this summer with three adopted teenagers. They will be here July 28th to share their mission work with us.
5. Bible College Scholarship: Youth or parents, see Mission Team Member or Randy Jones for information on obtaining support to attend a Christian College.
6. Mashoko/Hippo Valley Christian Mission: Full support for one orphan (5 yr old girl named Tatenda Dube) in Zimbabwe and for support of the Mission as well. See new picture posted on Mission board of Tatenda.
7. North Georgia Christian Camp: Mission support for this Christian based camp each month.
8. The Least of These: TLOT is providing monthly support to local families.
9. Point University: Providing monthly support for this Christian based college.
